Help & setup

Get set up, and fix things fast.

Install Callcraft, run your first Live Copilot session, and solve the most common problems in a minute.

1. Install Callcraft

  1. Download the app for your computer from the Download page (Mac: Apple Silicon or Intel; Windows 10/11).
  2. Mac: open the .dmg, drag Callcraft into Applications and open it from there. The first time, you may need to click Open Anyway in System Settings β†’ Privacy & Security.
  3. Windows: run the installer. If you see "Windows protected your PC", click More info β†’ Run anyway.
  4. Log in with your Callcraft email. No account yet? Create one free.

2. Allow access (Mac)

macOS asks for two permissions. Click Allow for both:

  • Screen & System Audio Recording: lets Copilot hear your meeting app and read your screen when you click Analyze Screen.
  • Microphone: only used if you choose to include your own voice.

You can change these any time in System Settings β†’ Privacy & Security. Windows doesn't need extra permissions to hear your meeting.

3. Your first Live Copilot session

  1. In the app, open Live Copilot and choose the type of call (sales call, client meeting, support, and so on).
  2. Optional: add your own instructions ("always suggest a demo") and files like your pitch deck, pricing or FAQs, so answers use your facts.
  3. Click Start Live Copilot. The Copilot panel floats on top of every app, including full-screen Zoom, Meet or Teams.
  4. Join your meeting as usual. Copilot listens to the other people and shows an answer when they ask a question. You can also click ✨ Answer now, type a question, or click πŸ“Έ Analyze Screen.
  5. Turn on Private to hide the panel from screen sharing and recordings.
  6. When the call ends, click Close Session (in the browser: End & summarise). You get a summary, action items and a follow-up email, saved in your call history.

Tip: follow-up buttons under each answer (Explain deeper, With example, Key takeaways…) build on the answer on screen, and β€Ή β€Ί switch between earlier answers.

Live Copilot

Copilot can't hear the other person

Copilot listens to your computer's audio, which is where the other people on the call come from.

  • Make sure you can hear the call on this computer (not only on your phone) and the meeting isn't muted. Headphones are fine.
  • On Mac, Callcraft needs the Screen & System Audio Recording permission. If it isn't hearing anything:
  1. Open System Settings β†’ Privacy & Security β†’ Screen & System Audio Recording.
  2. If Callcraft is in the list, select it and click βˆ’ to remove it (even if it's switched on).
  3. Quit Callcraft completely (⌘ Q) and open it again.
  4. Start Live Copilot and click Allow when macOS asks. If it doesn't ask, add Callcraft back with + and switch it on, then reopen Callcraft.

In the browser (without the desktop app): click Connect call audio, pick the tab with your meeting and turn on Also share tab audio.

Copilot isn't answering automatically
  • Check Customize β†’ Answers β†’ Auto-suggest is on.
  • Copilot answers when someone asks a question or raises a point. Short remarks like "okay" or "sounds good" are skipped on purpose.
  • To get an answer any time, click ✨ Answer now or press βŒ˜β‡§Enter (Windows: CtrlShiftEnter).
  • Check the status at the top says Listening…. If it says Not listening, click Start listening.
Copilot doesn't hear what I say

By default Copilot listens only to the other people on the call and keeps your microphone off. To include your voice, go to Customize β†’ Who to listen to β†’ Me + other people. It applies the next time you start listening.

In push-to-talk mode, your mic starts off: turn it on with the Mic button or βŒ˜β‡§M (Windows: CtrlShiftM).

Analyze Screen shows an error or only my wallpaper

On Mac, this is the Screen & System Audio Recording permission:

If it says "Update the Callcraft desktop app", download the latest version from the Download page. In the browser, click Connect call audio and share your meeting tab first; Copilot reads the tab you share.

The overlay disappeared, or I can't click it
  • Press ⌘\\ (Windows: Ctrl\\) to show it again. It may just be hidden.
  • If clicks go through the overlay to the app behind it, click-through is on. Press ⌘M (Windows: CtrlM) to turn it off.
  • Drag the grip at the bottom-left corner to resize it, or move it with βŒ₯+Arrows (Windows: Alt+Arrows).
  • Still missing? Quit Callcraft and open it again. Your session and transcript are saved.
Can the other people see Copilot on my screen share?

When the button at the top shows Private: on, the Copilot window is hidden from screen sharing and recordings on Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. Only you see it. When it shows Private: off, anyone you share your screen with can see it.

Before an important call, do a quick test: share your screen with a colleague (or a second device) and check. Operating-system updates can change how this works, so we test every release. Where required, let people know you use AI note-taking. See our Responsible Use Policy.

A keyboard shortcut doesn't work

Another app may be using the same keys. Open Customize β†’ Keyboard shortcuts: a shortcut that's taken shows a warning. Click it and press a new combination, or click Reset to defaults. Shortcuts work over any app while the Copilot overlay is open.

Answers are in the wrong language, too long or too short

Open Customize: Language sets the language Copilot listens and answers in, and Answers β†’ Answer length switches between short and detailed. You can also make the text bigger with Look β†’ Answer font size.

"The AI service is busy" message

Too many requests reached our AI provider at the same moment. Wait a few seconds and click ✨ Answer now again. If it keeps happening, message us on WhatsApp so we can check.

Installing and permissions

Mac says Callcraft can't be opened

The first time only: open System Settings β†’ Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway next to the Callcraft message, then confirm. After that it opens normally.

Windows shows "Windows protected your PC"

Click More info β†’ Run anyway. Windows shows this for new apps that haven't built up a download history yet.

macOS keeps asking for permission even though it's already on

This happens after installing a new version. Remove Callcraft from the list and let it ask again:

Do the same under Microphone if Copilot can't use your mic.

Windows: Copilot can't use my microphone

Open Settings β†’ Privacy & security β†’ Microphone and turn on Microphone access and Let desktop apps access your microphone. Then restart Callcraft.

Account, minutes and payments

I've used all my AI minutes

You'll see how many minutes are left in the app. When they run out, listening pauses until your plan renews at the start of next month, or you can upgrade on the Plans & billing page. Your history and reports stay available. Typing questions to Copilot doesn't use minutes.

I paid but my plan isn't active

Plans usually activate within 5 minutes (within 24 hours for payment links). If it's been longer, email support@callcraft.in with your payment ID and registered email. See our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

I forgot my password or can't log in

Make sure you're using the same email you signed up with (in both the app and the website). If you've forgotten your password, email support@callcraft.in from your registered email and we'll help you reset it.

How do I cancel, get a refund or delete my account?

See our Cancellation & Refund Policy. To delete your account and data, email support@callcraft.in from your registered email; see our Privacy Policy.
